I'm Majid I have Compaq Presario "c772tu", I install winxp sp2 in it with all drivers except modem drivers, I have downloaded many drivers form internet, but it did not work. Please some one can help me with this and give me the correct drivers through email. My id is majid.cyberdynesystems@gmail.com.

In my compaq C772TU there is no sound coming . and also the sound device is not shown at the task menu. And also at sound device says no device found

i have tried a lot of audio drivers but i external mic just would never work. Though the audio output is fine.

Can some lead me to the magical link for audio driver which will my mic a life???

i am desperate please HELP!

1st crack windows Xp by a patch which u can find on demonoid.
this will make ur windows genuine n then go to windows updates n their u will find 2 audio updates named conexant 221.

hello I am using Compaq C700 for last six to seven months..My Os is windows XP.I have a problem with its mike control system ..problem first..My speakers work though I insert my headfone n secondly my friends always complain that they cannot hear my voic e..Means my mike voice is very low....Can u plz help me rectifing my problems...I have already consulted an engineer n he said tat mu first problem will get solved when i load VIsta..I have gr8 problem working on VIsta.....n my system had come with Windows XP only..Plz help n mail me on apoorva1207[at]sify.com..

Also when a head phone is inserted then the speaker is continue working.

thank u for giving sequence of driver installation, i had audio problem, i couldnt install MS UAA bus driver , it is solved now.

if microsoft UAA bus driver can not be installed on your computer, here below is the solution....... you can directly instal audio driver........

1)Download the sound drivers from this site

2)Then extract the drivers using "winrar"

3)Go to the extracted file

4)Open the file "WiSVHe5.inf" file in notepad

under section [Conexant]

I need drivers for Compaq C772Tu for Windows 2003 server. Its extremely urgent.. Plzzzz help

There is some problem with the sound driver. The OS is windows XP. When we are using the head phone we can hear the sound thruogh the headphone as well as throught the laptop speakers. What can I do for this. Is it due to any issue with the sound driver.
Also the microphone(external microphone) is not detecting.

Please advice on this.

I have tried the above soptpack the UAA has been installed successfully, but the sound driver does not found via device manager when i have tried it from actual location the system shows "there is no media device found for this drive" please help.

Generally when headphone is used in laptop then the sound will b heard in headphone only.
But in my laptop the sound is coming in both laptop speakers as well as head phone.....

Usually if a headphone is connected to laptop, audio'll be heard only in headphone. But if i connect my headphone to my C772TU laptop, im able to hear the audio both in my laptop speaker and also in my headphone... I dont know whts the problem. please give me a suggestion for the same...

I would like to replace that completely with Windows XP Pro SP2 (sort of downgrading!!).

after i installed the UAA driver i am triying to install the Audio driver but system is not accepting, its giving the error message that " cound not installed : MEDIA device not found ".., can you please suggest me to install the drivers.,

Hi there, i installed the wireless driver as per guide, my laptop now able to detect the wlan device(working properly), but it will never get connected to the wireless (it wont detect any of the signal), i wonder if this is the issue on the wireless adapter? btw, my wireless panel is always stay orange light.

My laptop is c797TU, work on winxp sp2.
tried b4 installing broadcom and intel driver, but both dosnt work for my wireless adapter.

currently all the devices are working fine after refering to the installation steps provided, except the wireless,

I recently purchased a compaq presario C772TU laptop. Its wirless LAN is not working properly. In vista also, Iam not able to see the wireless lan driver( in the device manager).I installed the drivers provided by XP ie.. Intel PRO/Wireless Drivers for Microsoft Windows Vista and Broadcom Wireless LAN Driver for Microsoft Windows Vista . But still its not working.
In the device manger , under network adapter only real tek LAN driver is being displayed. Please help

I have just downgraded my presario C768 tu laptop to win XP from vista. Managed to find all the XP drivers, but the wireless button for the Atheros wireless is staying orange even when functional. Can anyone help?

I have upgraded my C772TU OS from PS2 to PS3. After doing so i'm unable to play any media files. Error shows that media device cannot be located. The sound card driver installation failed. Kindly advise how to proceed.
